The Crazy Cork Wine Bar, a new independent establishment, will soon come to Oviedo at 940 City Plaza Way, according to recent public records. The bar will be run by Randy & Cathy Perry.

“We started with the premise that the city of Oviedo is a great place to live and work, but what we felt was lacking was a neighborhood bar that served wines that are a step above what you find in most chain restaurants, by the glass as well as by the bottle,” the couple state on Crazy Cork’s official website.

“We want an atmosphere where patrons (friends) will feel welcome (think Cheers or Cafe Perk!) and relaxed.”

“Food is essential, but will be a complement to the experience, rather than the purpose of the experience. We also want to provide excellent gluten-free options that everyone will enjoy.”

“We’re excited to open and will keep you informed. Some day soon, you can stop in for a glass of wine, a pint of beer and a tapas plate to see whether The Crazy Cork meets these objectives, and hopefully you will find your new “go-to” place.”

No opening date has been announced.
