More pizza seems to be rising in the Fort Lauderdale area. What Now on Thursday came across a plan review with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation confirming the brand’s plans.

Per the filing, we can expect to see the quick-service pizza joint at 3233 N Ocean Blvd, where it will near a host of other restaurants: Scolapasta Bistro and Pasta Shop, Midtown Creamery and Smoke BBQ.

The plan review was initiated by PZZA, LLC, who lists Joshua Spector as its manager. What Now could not reach Spector for more details. When the new location will open is unknown. However, it just had its plans approved with provisions on May 25.

What Now reached out to Brian Dixon, who is listed in the filing as well, but we have yet to hear back.

Founded in 1984 by “Papa” John Schnatter, who initially served the pies out of his father’s business’ broom closet, the company has grown to over 5,000 locations in 45 countries and territories around the world. Read more about the brand’s storied history here.
