Two new Sweetgreen restaurants will be opening in Aventura and in Fort Lauderdale. The Aventura restaurant will be located at 19505 Biscayne Blvd b 2160. The Fort Lauderdale restaurant will be located at 2374 N Federal Hwy.
Sweetgreen has “Fresh, plant-forward, earth friendly food” with lots of healthy options for customers. Their online menu shows that some of their bowl offerings are a Summer Teriyaki Bowl, a Shroomami Bowl, a Harvest Bowl, a Fish Taco Bowl, a Chicken Pesto Parm Bowl and a Chicken Tostada Bowl.
One of their featured bowls right now is the Peach + Goat Cheese Bowl, which is described as “The season’s juiciest fruit joins creamy, tangy goat cheese in a bowl you’ll daydream about long after you devour it.” This bowl has fresh, healthy ingredients like peaches, goat cheese, cucumbers, basil, mint, toasted almonds, spring mix, shredded kale and balsamic vinaigrette.
As of 2022, there are over 900 Sweetgreen restaurants across the United States, according to this website. The State of Florida currently has 17 restaurants so these two new locations will bring the restaurant count up to 19.
What Now Miami reached out to Sweetgreen for more information about these two new locations but did not hear back. A plan review was filed for each restaurant on August 5, 2022 by Sweetgreen licensing manager Debi Habiger. An opening date has not yet been announced for either location.
