Hot on the heels of the reveal of the location for Midtown’s planned Playa Bowls location, another planned spot from the açai bowl chain has appeared in a recently submitted plan review—this time at 100 Commercial Blvd, in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

This means even more of Playa Bowls’ açai, pitaya, and coconut (and more) bowls headed into south Florida, in varieties like the Trailblazer (Granola, chocolate protein, banana, raw cacao, peanut butter), the Olas (Banana blend topped with granola, banana, blueberry. Coconut flakes, chia seeds, almond butter), and the Green Power Bowl (Kale blend with vanilla protein topped with granola, banana, almond butter).

Location-specific menu details are not available at this time. Some Playa Bowls locations also offer poké bowl and coffee menus.

The Commercial Blvd location is part of a building that also houses Even Keel Fish Shack and Sloan’s Ice Cream, right across El Mar Dr from Mulligan’s Beach House and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Beach.

What Now was unable to reach a representative of Playa Bowls for immediate comment on Tuesday morning. No projected opening date has been announced for a Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Playa Bowls location.
