Miami Worldcenter will soon add Sports & Social, a sports bar brand from the Baltimore-based Cordish Companies, to its food and drink roster, according to recent coverage in the South Florida Business Journal.

It’s a big season for the 20,000 square-foot, $4 billion mixed-use development, which has recently signed leases with a number of major brands, including retail brands like Sephora and Lucid Motors, and restaurant concepts like Brasserie Laurel and El Vecino (both from Chef Michael Beltran).

“Every restaurant and store that will open at Miami Worldcenter is carefully selected to ensure the ultimate live-work-play experience that appeals to downtown Miami’s growing residential and commercial population,” Nitin Motwani, managing partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates, said in a release quoted by the journal.

Sports & Social offers a comfortable atmosphere for sports viewing; classic games like skee-ball, airhockey, shuffleboard, and billiards; and made-from-scratch American foods, along with beer, wine, and cocktails. The brand’s first Miami location is expected this winter, at the Dolphin Mall.
