A beloved milkshake bar and beer store in Coconut Grove is getting a makeover.

Vicky’s House milkshake bar and beer has closed down and will now become Victoria’s Vinos & Vermouth.

Both concept were birthed by KUSH Hospitality Group, which was founded in 2011 by Matt Kuscher.

While Vicky’s house is known for milkshakes, Victoria’s Vinos will have an older, adult vibe.

“Vicky’s House was my mom’s inner childhood dream of milkshakes and ice cream,” Kuscher said. “My mom and I share the same passion for Spanish ciders, vermouths and natural wines and so it only made sense for Vicky’s to evolve into what will now be Victoria’s.”

Other than Victoria’s, Kush Group owns eight other restaurants and cafes. Victoria’s is currently being renovated and will be a waiting room for Kush Group’s burger and sandwich establishment LoKal, which is located right next door.

Customers can expect natural wines, vermouths and Spanish ciders.

“VVV is a cool, sexy, laid-back spot to indulge in natural wines, homemade vermouth, or Spanish ciders with lite bites while you’re waiting for a table at LoKal or for an after-dinner dinner drink,” Kuscher said.

He added that making this change is part of his creative growth.

“Every few years I like to rebrand my concepts to keep my creative juices flowing and bring fresh energy to our employees and guests,” Kuscher said. “I have so many ideas creatively that I constantly want to explore. This new project is something I am deeply passionate about, and I think it’s the perfect time to bring something new and equally inviting to the area.”

Victoria’s will open by the first week of December.
