Located on the northwest corner of Meridian Avenue and South Lincoln Lane, MILA Miami Beach is planning an expansion onto a new second level, according to recent coverage in the South Florida Business Journal.

MILA’s second floor will house several additional concepts: The MM Club, an exclusive members-only club; MILA Omakase, a ten-seat chef’s-choice sushi experience; and MILA Lounge, a nightlife experience featuring light eats, bottle service, and innovative cocktails.

Inspired by Mediterranean and Japanese cuisines, MILA’s dinner menu offers tapas like Potato Millefeuille with truffle aioili, kefalograviera, and chives, and Five Spice Chicken Karaage, with sweet corn espuma and pickled daikon. The Mediterranean Raw Bar features a Snapper Crudo with tom yum vinaigrette, cherry tomatoes, and micro cilantro, and a Tuna Tartare, with roasted fennel-tofu aioli and avocado miso, among other tempting choices.

To launch these new concepts, MILA will hire between 50 and 70 new staff members.

What Now was unable to reach a representative of MILA on Tuesday. According to the South Florida Business Journal coverage, these concepts are expected to debut before the end of the year.
