North Beach’s Ocean Terrace development, whose reimagining has been undertaken by developers Sandor Scher and Alex Blavatnik of Ocean Terrace Holdings, will be home to “Miami’s first and only sushi and Japanese restaurant & bar directly on the beach.” Sushi Bichi will open at 7330 Ocean Terrace #CU5, according to recently submitted plan review paperwork.

Opening in a “prime oceanfront location in the reimagined Ocean Terrance & Park,” Sushi Bichi promises “4,200 square feet of upscale Japanese outdoor dining.” Details on the menu aren’t available just yet, other than the basics: sushi, Japanese cuisine, and drinks.

What Now reached out on Thursday to owner James Recio. Recio was not immediately available for comment on the planned restaurant. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available on Sushi Bichi’s menu and business hours.

The address provided in the plan review paperwork is that of Saint Tropez Ocean Front Condominium, a 28-story, 91-unit condominium complex.
