Miami Beach’s open-air shopping mall Bal Harbour Shops appears to be adding a new cafe concept to its roster of food and drink locations. A plan review submitted recently by Avenue31 LLC and found by What Now indicates that a restaurant called Avenue 31 Cafe is headed to the shopping center, located at 9700 Collins Ave. in Bal Harbour.

What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Stefano Frittella. Frittella declined to comment at this time on the project.

For this reason, the details surrounding Avenue 31 Cafe—its menu, hours of operation, and opening date—remain a mystery, at least for now.

At Bal Harbour Shops, Avenue 31 Cafe would be joining a distinguished culinary community that includes Mediterranean restaurant Aba, Italian eatery Carpaccio, Japanese restaurant Makoto, and artisan gelato spot Bianco Gelato.
