Offering “Innovative, Inspired Chinese Cuisine with Greenmarket Sensibility,” New York City’s RedFarm offers inventive dim sum and small plates from chef Joe Ng. Having already expanded beyond its two NYC locations with a restaurant in London, RedFarm appears to be expanding again on this side of the pond. This week, What Now found a plan review for a RedFarm location at 3131 Commodore Plaza.
The RedFarm menu includes Dinner Specials like BBQ’d Duck Breast with Grilled Litchi and Lotus Chips, Pan-Fried Lamb Dumpling Shooters with Tofu and Miso Seaweed Broth, and Steamed Branzino Fillet with Mapo Tofu.
The restaurant’s sizable list of offerings also includes dim sum dishes like Bok Choy Dumplings and Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings; dinner entrees like Sea Bass & Avocado Tart and BBQ’s ‘Black Foot’ Berkshire Pork Belly with Grilled Jalapeño Peppers; and rice and noodle dishes like Bentons Bacon & Egg Fried Rice.
The Commodore Plaza location is one of several food and drink spots nearby, including Loretta and the Butcher, Bianco Gelato, Midorie Miami, and Taco Way.
The paperwork was submitted by RF Commodore LLC, behind which is Chodorow Ventures Fund, LLC, owned by Jeffrey Chodorow of China Grill Management. What Now reached out Chodorow on Tuesday. Chodorow declined to comment at this time.
