With about 70 locations in the U.S. and internationally, golf entertainment brand Topgolf is preparing to expand with a new location in Pompano Beach. According to a recent announcement at PompanoBeachFL.gov, Topgolf Pompano will open a “three-level state-of-the-art venue” in a mixed-use development currently being built by The Cordish Companies and Caesars Entertainment.
“In short, we’re a sports entertainment complex that features an inclusive, high-tech golf game that everyone can enjoy,” reads the Experience page on the Topgolf website. “Paired with an outstanding food and beverage menu, climate-controlled hitting bays and music, every Topgolf has an energetic hum that you can feel right when you walk through the door.”
Construction has begun on the new Topgolf, which is expected to open in late 2023 at the new development. Located at the intersection of Powerline Boulevard and Race Track Road, the new project will “bring together the newly remodeled and rebranded Harrah’s Pompano Beach with entertainment, retail, dining, hotel, residential, office and lifestyle offerings in one destination.”
“This exciting announcement of Top Golf coming to the Isle Development in Pompano Beach once again demonstrates that the City’s investment in our roadways, parks and other public infrastructure will attract good growth to the City,” said Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin in a statement. “Our residents and visitors will soon enjoy this amazing new golf entertainment and beautiful dining experience as a part of our improving community”.
The new Topgolf location is expected to bring nearly 450 full- and part-time jobs. Its food and drink offerings will include a “chef-driven menu led by an accomplished Executive Chef,” which will feature “a fresh twist on American classics, local specialties and brews, plus unexpected new creations.”
