Founded in Middlebury, Connecticut, in 1993, local craft eatery and bar Maggie McFly’s is planning to open its first Florida location this fall. Opening in Town Center at Boca Raton, Maggie McFly will start serving South Florida its famously large menu between September 15 and October 15 of this year, owner Ray Harper told What Now on Monday.

“We are a family-friendly restaurant with a median price point and a large menu with locally sourced ingredients,” Harper said.

The new location will feature a similar size and layout to that of most Maggie McFly’s locations (of which there are currently nine, by our count), coming in at about 8200 square feet, with a 1500 square foot patio, and seating roughly 350 guests.

“We will do seasonal specials that will be much more focused on Florida and Boca, more fresh fish,” Harper told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, which provides this not-comprehensive list of Maggie McFly’s food offerings: “burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, street foods (tacos, gyros, sliders), pastas, chicken dishes, salads, seafood, steaks and ribs, house specialties (such as Shepherd’s Pie, Pot Roast, Cajun Jambalaya), appetizers, snacks and desserts.”

Opening in Town Center at Boca Raton, Maggie McFly will join food and drink spots like The Blue Dog, The Capital Grille, and California Pizza Kitchen.
