Located at 142 SE Sixth Ave. in Delray Beach, Whole Green Cafe has built a following with its menu of healthy, fresh food offerings. Building on this success, the cafe is now gearing up to launch a second location, this time at 418 Federal Highway in Pompano Beach.
“The whole idea is that everything is made fresh to order, with clean foods that are delicious and seasoned well,” owner Tomer Bar told What Now on Monday. “It’s good eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”
In its new second home, Whole Green Cafe will launch the same menu it has offered in Delray. That menu opens with all-day-breakfast offerings like the Smoked Salmon Bagel; the Homestyle Omelette Wrap with turkey bacon, potatoes, red onion, and cheddar cheese; and Oatmeal with Fruit. For lunch and dinner, guests can choose from Wraps like the Quinoa Chicken Wrap and the Veggie Burger Wrap, farm-to-table salads like the Caesar Salad and the Mexi Chop Salad (Romaine, tomato, cucumber, red onion, green pepper, corn, black beans, shredded cheese, crunchy tortilla chips, cilantro lime dressing), and bowls like the Quinoa Bowl and the Ahi Poke Bowl.
The menu also features smoothies, açaí bowls, fresh squeezed juices, and meal replacement shakes with protein and oats. These latter come in varieties like Peanut Butter & Jelly and Banana Split.
The new location will seat between thirty-five and fifty guests, and will allow Whole Green Cafe to expand its reach here in South Florida.
“This is a much bigger space,” said Bar. “I’m really looking for ambiance, with a lot of plants. I hope people will like the new look.”
