No Man’s Land, the popular and critically-lauded Fort Lauderdale cocktail lounge and restaurant from Garrett Hospitality Group, is preparing to open a new location in Miami Beach. The creation of Big Brother reality star and restaurateur Memphis Garrett, No Man’s Land first launched in late 2021, and it will open its second outpost at Miami Beach’s Hotel Trouvail this fall.
The lounge and restaurant’s second location comes as part of another new move by Garrett Hospitality Group: taking over as Hotel Trouvail’s food and beverage operating partner. It’s the hospitality group’s first partnership of this kind.
“We’re very excited to be working with the management and ownership team of Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach and to be at the helm of a project of this scope and size,” said Memphis Garrett in a press release.
Garrett owns and operates numerous restaurant and cocktail concepts in South Florida and Chicago, and he has other concepts (in other places) under development as well.
“No Man’s Land Miami Beach will be the hotel’s signature restaurant (and naturally its primary watering hole), with dinner service spilling out to the poolside patio and drinks also on offer on the front terrace,” reads the press release. “In addition, a daytime poolside concept – Bali Hai – will be the home base for lunchtime sips and sustenance. Fans and familiars of NML Fort Lauderdale know the lounge and restaurant is as known for its live entertainment as its menu offerings, so exciting entertainment will be part of the Miami Beach location’s milieu. In addition to NML and Bali Hai, GHG will also oversee in-room dining for the hotel.”
Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach was founded in 1940 as the Greenbrier Hotel, and it is located in a restored Art Deco building. It features 71 residential-style rooms and a “French-inspired, eclectic design,” representing “a marriage of quintessential Miami style and St. Tropez flair.” It’s located at 3101 Indian Creek Drive.
