The Harbor Shops, a retail center located on Cordova Road south of the intersection with FL State Road A1A in Fort Lauderdale, will soon be home to a new entertainment spot for kids and adults alike. The Treehouse Indoor Playground & Cafe will open at 1811 Cordova Road.

After finding a recently submitted plan review for the Tree House, submitted by Treehouse Family Entertainment Group Corp., What Now reached out to owner Thiago Ribeiro to inquire about plans for the spot. As always, we were particularly curious about the food and drink angle.

Ribeiro declined to make any immediate comment on the project, leaving the details about the Tree House’s cafe side unknown for the moment. What Now is awaiting more information.

Anchored by a Publix Super Market, along with retailers like T.J. Maxx and Ace Hardware, the Harbor Shops plaza is home to a variety of restaurants, including Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill, Willie T’s Seafood Shack, Manhattan NY Restaurant & Pizza, and Joe’s Cafe.
