Matteo’s Trattoria appears to be gearing up for an expansion in South Florida. With two restaurants in New York, plus locations in Hallandale and Boca Ratonplus two sister concepts, Rothmann’s Steakhouse and Louie’s Prime Steak & Seafood—the Matteo’s brand is growing in scope.

And now, a recently submitted plan review indicates Matteo’s Palm Beach is coming next. The submitted paperwork shows the new restaurant opening in North Palm Beach at 1201 US Highway, Units 24-25. The location is part of shopping center Crystal Cove Commons.

“Matteo’s Trattoria combines the delicious Italian family-style tradition with a modern, chic ristorante,” says the restaurant’s website. “With over 30 years of tradition, we can promise you the best food, impeccable service and experience.”

The Boca Raton location’s menu features a range of choices from Italian and Italian-American cuisine, with Specialty Pasta dishes like Shrimp & Clams Marechiara, Entrees like the Bone-In Veal Chop, and Fresh Fish dishes like Shrimp Scampi, Snapper Luciano with sauteed spinach and light tomato, and Shrimp Parmigiana.

Behind Matteo’s Palm Beach LLC is Matteo’s owner Jerry Sbarro. What Now reached out to Sbarro on Monday to inquire about plans for a Palm Beach Matteo’s location. Sbarro declined to comment at this time.
