Moksha, an event-planning agency based in Opa-locka, is preparing to launch its first brick-and-mortar restaurant concept. A recently submitted plan review shows Moksha Bar & Grill opening at 4249 N State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of Moksha on Friday.

The representative said Moksha Bar & Grill will offer a fusion menu drawing from Japanese, Caribbean, and soul-food cuisines, declining to comment further on the project at this time.

The North State Road 7 location is part of Oakland Shopping Center, a retail center that is already home to a variety of food and beverage concepts. These include Hong Kong BBQ, Huong’s Bistro, Singh’s Roti Delight, and Maxin Oriental Bakery.
