Areas USA, a hospitality company that “offers a broad range of bespoke dining and retail services designed to exceed the expectations of both guests and landlords in airports, railway stations, highway service plazas and beyond” around the world, appears to be at work on a new bar at Miami International Airport.

Plan review paperwork was submitted recently by Areas USA MIA LLC for a new bar, referred to simply as “Bar” in the paperwork, that would open at 4200 NW 21st Street, in the airport’s Concourse J. (The address given specifies that the location will be in a food court.)

What Now reached out on Tuesday to Clint Westbrook, chief operating officer at Areas USA to ask about the details on an upcoming bar in Concourse J at MIA. Westbrook was not immediately available for comment.

Much therefore remains unknown about the new bar project.

Concourse J is currently home to four food and beverage concepts: Corona Beach House, Earl of Sandwich, Famous Famiglia, and La Pausa.
