The retail center on Northeast 167th Street between Northeast Seventh and Eighth Avenues in North Miami Beach appears to be the future home of a new cafe. Plan review paperwork was submitted by Roma Expresso LLC for a restaurant at 753 NE 167th Street.

Behind Roma Expresso LLC is owner Hector Lainez. What Now reached out to Lainez on Wednesday to ask about Roma Expresso’s plans for opening in the 167th Street location. Lainez was not immediately available for comment.

Little is therefore known about the new cafe project in the works in the North Miami Beach retail center. We’re expecting coffee, though, and stay tuned for possible updates as more information becomes available.

Opening in the 167th Street location, Roma Expresso LLC’s new cafe would join retailers like Aldi and Walgreens Pharmacy, along with food and beverage outlets like Carvel and Jerusalem Pizza.
