Located on US-1 near the intersection with Jack Nicklaus Drive in North Palm Beach, Oaktree Plaza will soon be home to a new kava concept. A submitted plan review shows Sanctuary Kava opening in the small retail center, at 11585 US-1 #306.

Classified as a depressant, kava is understood as a beverage with much fewer of the side effects and health risks associated with alcohol. The drink, made from the roots of the kava plant (or the Piper methysticum, in its scientific appellation), is growing in popularity in recent years.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to Noah Prebianca, one of the owners behind Sanctuary Kava, to inquire about plans for the opening. Prebianca said it’s still too soon to share details about the opening.

Oaktree Plaza is situated across the street from the larger Shoppes of Oakbrook. Overall, the retail centers are home to variety of food and drink options, including Barcello, Duffy’s Sports Grill, and Berry Fresh Grill, along with larger franchise concepts like Dunkin’ and Jersey Mike’s Subs.

Stay tuned for more details about Sanctuary Kava as further information becomes available.
