After twelve years in operation, Salt7 closed at 32 SE Second Avenue, announced coverage published in early July by Boca Magazine. Replacing it is Kapow Noodle Bar, an Asian restaurant brand with locations in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
“Well, as the saying goes, when a door closes, a window opens—and Kapow Noodle Bar has stepped through the window to bring us Kapow Delray Beach,” the Boca Mag coverage said.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with owner Vaughan Dugan on Wednesday. No opening date is yet available.
“Kapow! focuses on a menu of communal Asian comfort food, our modern take on Asian street food” says the brand’s website. “Indulge in the food, wash it all down with a craft beer or hand-crafted cocktails while never breaking the bank.”
The Boca Raton location offers a menu that opens with a range of sushi choice, Snacks & Small Plates like Wok Charred Edamame and Vietnamese Chicken Wings, Dim Sum choices, and salads. On the handheld side are the Oishi Wagyu Burger and Vietnamese Banh Mi, followed by main dishes like Peking Duck and Miso Sake Salmon with baby bok choy.
Noodle and Rice Dishes range from BBQ Duck & Ginger Fried to Duck Lo Mein, to Pork Belly Ramen, to Chicken Pad Thai. Dinner finishes with sweets like Pineapple Brulee or Thai Donuts.
