Graspa Group, Miami’s hospitality firm specializing in original, Italian-accented restaurant concepts, opened its first Salumeria 104 location in Broward County on Tuesday, October 1. Located at 1370 Weston Road in Weston, the rustic trattoria-style restaurant will serve traditional homemade Italian classics inspired by Chef and Co-Owner Angelo Masarin’s Italian heritage, alongside a wide selection of Italian salumi and cheese.

The 4,000-square-foot Salumeria 104 Weston mirrors the cozy design of its sister locations, which evoke the warmth and natural charm of an Italian home. The dining room accommodates 60 guests, complemented by a full bar with 16 seats and a private room for 50. Adorned with black-and-white snapshots inspired by Italy in the ‘70s and ’80s, the friendly ambiance transports diners to grandma’s kitchen in the Italian countryside, where “la dolce vita” (the sweet life) is in full swing. The interior features earthy tones, gleaming white subway tiles, handcrafted wooden tables paired with Italian straw chairs, a visible wood-fired pizza oven and slicing station that guests can admire as they dine.

“As soon as guests enter Salumeria 104, they immediately feel a sense of community,” said Masarin in a statement. “We’re very excited to expand Salumeria 104 to Weston and bring our Italian passion and culinary expertise to the area. Locals and visitors alike can expect a casual-chic Italian trattoria experience, complete with friendly service, authentic recipes and consistent quality.”

The menu will serve a selection of time-honored Italian dishes and seasonal specialties featuring the freshest ingredients on the market. Highlights include antipasti like the Burratina ($18), fried green tomato with 12-year aged Bonini balsamic, and Vitello Tonnato ($22), thinly sliced roasted veal covered with creamy tuna sauce and fried capers; cold-cut shareables such as Salumi and Charcuterie Boards featuring prosciuttos, mortadella and more. Guests can indulge in daily house-made pastas like the classic Tagliatelle Bolognese ($18) or Cacio e Pepe ($28), made with chitarra, tossed tableside in a cheese wheel and finished with black pepper; Spaghetti alla Bottarga ($24), a twist on the traditional plate with Calabrian chili oil and bottarga; and a variety of wood-fired Italian pizzas from Margherita to Prosciutto e Funghi. The meats and fresh seafood section of the menu offers delectable dishes like the Porchetta ($32), Filetto de Manzo ($52) served with a special Valpolicella red wine sauce and truffle mashed potatoes, and roasted Branzino ($34) served in a lemon garlic sauce; and guests can end the meal with a sweet selection of desserts, such as the homemade Tiramisu ($12).

The extensive drink menu offers a wide range of Italian and international wines by the glass and bottle, including reds, whites, frizzanti, rosé and dessert wines, as well as the artisanal Italian beer Mastri Birrai Umbri ($8). The Weston location will feature a full bar, complete with a cocktail menu including a Spritz Selection, Martini Selection and Signature Cocktails. While highlighting long-time favorites like the Aperol Spritz, Salumeria Espresso Martini and Classic Negroni, each section of the robust cocktail menu showcases local additions like the Weston Spritz with the addition of grapefruit and ginger beer; Alligator Spritz, an homage to the neighboring Everglades with peach nectar; the Weston Martini with Giffard Lychee Liqueur and passion fruit puree; and more.

Like its other locations, Salumeria 104 Weston will offer engaging weekly programming. On Mondays, enjoy all-day “Baci & Abbracci” with 50% off all bottles of wine. On Wednesdays, indulge in $1 oysters. Diners can also come for happy hour Monday to Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4-6 p.m. for discounted drink specials.

Salumeria 104 Weston is located at 1370 Weston Road. The trattoria is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9:30 p.m.
