The Paleta Bar has been serving up Mexican popsicles throughout New Mexico for four years, and has since become a franchise with locations in San Diego and Florida. Now, it looks like the gourmet popsicle stand is headed to Tempe.

Known for its fresh ingredients and array of unique paleta (Spanish for popsicle) combinations, the franchise has expanded quickly, which might have something to do with a 2018 viral Facebook post that now has over eighteen million views.

It seems like The Paleta Bar’s newest location will be at 323 East Veterans Parkway, inside the ASU University House Tempe apartments. We don’t know when it’s planning to open, but given that the building also houses college students, I would imagine those kids would kill for some popsicles come fall orientation, which is bound to be a scorcher.
