According to Mouth By Southwest, Mexican restaurant and bar Salt Tacos y Tequila is opening a new location at SanTan Village Shopping Center in Gilbert, at 2218 E Williams Field Road, in the space that used to be Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que.
And it looks like that won’t be Salt’s only new location.
The restaurant appears to be opening a third location at The Shops at Norterra, at 2450 West Happy Valley Road, in a corner suite between Shasta Pools & Spas and Restore Hyper Wellness & Cyro, according to a source familiar with the plans.
Salt’s OG spot at Westgate in Glendale has been open for five years, and offers an abundance of tacos, burritos, and over 150 types of tequila. It’s fair to assume their new locations will offer the same great game-day fare.
There’s no word yet on when they plan to open their new locations(s), but you can head to their website, Facebook, or Instagram for updates.
