It isn’t news that Vito LoPiccolo slings Brooklyn-style pies at Brooklyn V’s Pizza. According to the pizza shop’s website, LoPiccolo owned restaurants in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Queens for 20 years before moving across the country. It is news, however, that Brooklyn V’s is growing.
LoPiccolo has plans to open his fourth shop, which will be the second brick-and-mortar Brooklyn V’s in Chandler. The shop is coming soon to 4991 S. Alma School Road.
Brooklyn V’s seeks to bring Brooklyn to Arizona with “only the finest ingredients.” Doughs and sauces are made in-house, and LoPiccolo “strives to provide great tasting food at reasonable prices.”
In case you were wondering, Brooklyn V’s offers more than just pizza—along with a great selection of wine and draft beer, V’s serves up pastas, calzones, and strombolis, as well as appetizers like calamari, bruschetta, and zucchini sticks.
While we were unable to confirm an opening date, the shop’s Facebook page announced the new location at Alma School and Chandler Heights on March 7th. According to the post, they’ll keep us updated with their projected opening date.
