At the convergence of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley, with sprawling views of Camelback Mountain, will sit restaurateur Sam Fox’s debut into the hospitality industry: The Global Ambassador. According to Forbes, the 141-room luxury hotel has been developed in response to what we’ve all been missing since the advent of the pandemic: socialization.
The Global Ambassador’s aim to ‘redefine luxury hospitality’ will be achieved in part by a rooftop restaurant. And not just any rooftop restaurant; this one, when it opens in 2023, will be the largest roof top restaurant in AZ. Forbes reports the rooftop will accommodate up to 1,000 people in its 18,000 square foot space.
The hotel will also feature a casual shop with coffee, pastries, and grab-and-go items. The different restaurants that will open in the hotel have a variety of influences from a Parisian Steakhouse to a Poolside spot with Mexican and Peruvian influences.
Wellness also appears to be a major part of The Global Ambassador’s concept. A quick glance at the hotel’s Instagram suggests a focus on ‘the mind and body in perfect balance.’ Hey, after the year we’ve all had, this sounds like the place to be.
