A food-truck turned café and bar that’s made its way from Portland, Oregon to Phoenix is working steadily towards an opening date. Only two days ago, NW Drip Coffee shared an update across its social media channels: “Bar built✅ Tables Installed✅ Murals And Floor Done✅.”
The café, owned and operated by Cherrelle Frazier, also recently filed an application for a liquor license, and all I can say is, what a killer combination. The new bar and café will open on N Grand Ave in Phoenix, a stone’s throw from the intersection W Roosevelt and N 15th Ave.
According to the café’s update, it is merely waiting on an inspection and the arrival of additional supplies.
The space features a beautiful wooden bar, high top tables, and comfy-looking red and black couches, as well as a NW Drip Coffee mural on the floor and wall of the café. The café took over the space on N Grand Ave in early May but has been operating as a mobile café since 2018. According to NW Drip Coffee’s Instagram, the company sold the truck in April.
We were unable to reach Frazier at the time of publication, so you’ll want to check out the café’s social media for further updates on the opening timeline. Great coffee, wine, and beer all in one place? I’ll drink to that.
