A new dress shop called Primrose Boutique is coming soon to Ahwatukee Hills Plaza. According to a recent permit found in city public records, Unit 403 at 4929 W. Chandler Blvd. is undergoing some interior remodeling, including the addition of dressing rooms and handicap accessible point of sale.
Primrose Boutique will specialize in prom and homecoming dresses, all sourced from U.S. based designers. For every dress sold, the shop will also keep track of what event or school dance it will be worn at, which eliminates the anxiety of someone wearing the same dress as you.
If someone at your school has already bought the style you like, Primrose Boutique will offer a variety of colors and styles to make you stand out. Owner Stacy Eyre tells What Now Phoenix that this is her first business venture in Arizona.
She adds that they are thinking about adding shoes and a selection of nice jewelry to the inventory in the future. If all goes according to plan, she hopes to open Primrose Boutique by mid-February, just in time to start shopping for prom season. For more information, visit www.primroseaz.com.
Correction: An earlier version of this article has been updated to clarify that jewelry, in addition to shoes, may be added to the inventory in the future, but will not currently be sold upon opening.
