In downtown Phoenix this year, look out for a new spot called Sin Muerte. The state of Arizona recently issued the incoming bar and restaurant a license to serve alcohol at 817 N. First St. near ASU’s downtown campus.
Sin Muerte will be brought to us by Instrumental Hospitality Group, who created the Melrose District’s Belly. The group is composed of partners Paul Waxman, Robert Cissell, and Welcome Diner veteran Michael Babcock.
Babcock tells What Now Phoenix that plans for Sin Muerte are very much in their infancy, so he wasn’t able to divulge too much information at this time. He did say that we can expect a debut late this summer, if all goes according to plan.
Based on the success of Belly and Welcome Diner, we are anxious to see what’s in store for Sin Muerte. Until then, we should all follow @sin.muerte.phx on Instagram to get our updates straight from the source.
Sin Muerte joins a burgeoning drinking and dining scene near downtown Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row. It will neighbor establishments such as Matt’s Big Breakfast, Stoop Kid, and the newly opened tri-concept venue that includes Palma, Châm Pang Lanes, and Ghost Donkey.
