Coming this month to Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row is a new coffee shop called Dialog, which will be a multi-use community space on the ground floor of 1001 N. Central Ave. Dialog is brought to us by Chad Campbell and Shawn Silberblatt, who are known for the uptown furniture store-slash-cafe, For The People and Kream Coffee.
Dialog will be a “2.0” version of their uptown business, according to an interview with Phoenix New Times. Whereas For The People and Kream Coffee have encouraged customers to grab their daily cups, then hang around the store to chat with friends and get work done, Campbell and Silberblatt hope to achieve the same vibe with Dialog.
“We were very intentional with the name. We really want to create conversations,” Cambell told the Phoenix New Times. The space will have a U-shaped black coffee bar with minimalist design features, which lends itself to being easily transformed from a coffee shop in the day to an event space at night.
Their beverage menu will feature a global range of roasters from the U.S. to Mexico. “We only curate roasters that are doing that third wave movement, roasting coffee with the intention of bringing out the flavor of that particular crop,” adds Silberblatt.
Beyond coffee, they will have a cooler stocked with elevated brands of kombucha, water and other sparkling beverages. There will be a large pastry selection, as well as takeaway food such as grab-and-go lunches to everything you need for a charcuterie board.
The space will also feature a mini retail section with “daily ritual” goods, such as cooking utensils, fresh flowers, and more. Dialog will be joining a host of other exciting businesses coming soon to the building, such as Teddy’s Preserve.
