Starbucks looks poised to set up shop at the corner of N Arizona Ave and E Warner Rd in Chandler, according to a plan review filed with the city last Friday, Jan 6, which calls for the construction of a single-story building with drive-thru lane.
In a statement emailed to What Now Phoenix, a Starbucks spokesperson writes, “Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers, and we are happy to confirm that we will be opening a new location on Arizona Ave. and Warner Rd., in Chandler, AZ, in Spring 2024,” adding that “this location will employ approximately 25 partners (employees) and feature a drive thru.”
The international coffee juggernaut already has a strong presence in the city, with upwards of 20 locations dotted throughout Chandler. So while it’s unclear when the new outpost might open, residents can rest easy knowing there’s probably one nearby in the meantime.
