Having established successful locations in Metairie and Baton Rouge, Atomic Burger is set to open a new location in Ascension Parish in the late winter or early spring. Fans of Atomic Burger should expect the new location at 17122 Commerce Centre Drive in Prairieville to offer the same menu as the other two locations.

The cornerstone of the Atomic Burger menu is its range of burgers, which can be ordered full-sized or as sliders. The burgers come in several different varieties, such as mushroom swiss, green chile and the very popular bacon jam burger. Co-owner Nick Spitale recently told What Now New Orleans that he recommends new customers try duos or trios of different sliders as a way to check out all the different flavors.

“You can sort of mix and match our different styles and see what you like,” he said.

The food menu also includes a chili cheese dog and fried chicken sandwich. A popular range of milkshakes offers unique flavors like Nutella marshmallow and butter pecan. In addition to the food, Atomic Burger also gets high marks for its friendly service.

“We make service an area of focus, through the hiring process and the training process,” Spitale said. “We work hard to make sure our guests have great experiences every time they come.”
