Convenience Store Planned for Pryor Road

The store at an Exxon gas station off Interstate 85 could be open in January.

A convenience store is planned for a spot off Interstate 85 with an Exxon gas station.

According to a building permit application for an interior buildout of the one-story convenience store at 1152 Pryor Road SW, it will be 6,400 square feet. The projected cost of construction is $25,000. It is expected to be open by January.

The convenience store will be located near the Peoplestown neighborhood, south of Downtown Atlanta.

There are more than 12,000 Exxon and Mobil stations across the U.S.

Exxon and Mobil merged in 1999.
