Home decor retailer opening second Atlanta metro area location March 1.

Stanton Home Furnishings, a retailer that specializes in furniture, upholstery, accessories, scents and lighting for the home, is expanding in Atlanta.

The home decor retailer will open a second location in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood, at 1050 N. Highland Avenue, on March 1, according to owner Jimmy Stanton.

“This smaller location with focus on home accessories and gifts,” Stanton said in an email to What Now Atlanta.

Its current 7,000-square-foot location on the Westside, at 1194 Huff Road, will operate as a furniture showroom, he said.

The new Virginia-Highland location next door to Paper Source will retail candles, design books, pillows, mirrors, artwork, pottery, blankets, etc., according to Stanton.

Stanton Home will replace Bella Cucina, an Italian goods retailer. Bella Cucina relocated a few doors down into a larger space.

[Editor’s note: Google maps would not pull up the 1050 N. Highland. Below is a map of 1052 strictly as a point of reference.]
