Aquarena Springs’s Chick Fil A, located at 1433 N Interstate 35 in Austin, will begin a pricey improvement project early next year, according to recent public records.

The project, which will cost around $215,000, will at the very least consist of revamping the location’s drive thru system: “Chick-fil-A is proposing to replace the existing drive-thru window with a new bi-parting drive-thru (Tormax) door. In addition, the existing air curtain will be replaced, a new mini-split system will be installed.”

The total square footage of the project will be around 20 square feet. The restaurant is run by operator Jon Sprencel.

Founded in Hapeville, Georgie by Truett Cathy in 1946, Chick-Fil-A has since become one of the most notable Buda Chick-fil-A to Upgrade Facilityand ubiquitous fast casual restaurants in the United States. Chick-fil-A is especially known for its chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, hospitable staff, and being consistently, unequivocally closed on Sundays.
