Back in March, What Now reported on news of an expansion for Stage Kitchen & Bar, the “integrated, small-plates experience inspired by culinary influences from across the world” brought to South Florida by Chef Pushkar Marathe and partner Andy Dugard. That second location, opening in Boca Raton’s Restaurant Row, is still in the works—and as it turns out, that’s not the only project Marathe and Dugard have coming down the pipeline.

Ela Curry & Cocktails, another concept from the two restaurateurs that “showcases refined and culturally-focused cuisine from across India in a dynamic selection of street food and fresh, daring thali-style dishes,” is also at work on its second location. It’ll be serving up the same great menu of Chaat/Street Snacks like Tuna Bhelpuri (yellowfin tuna, avocado, corn, puffed rice, crispy lentils, chutneys) and Pani Puri (beet, chickpeas, tamarind, green juice); curries like Butter Chicken, Kerala Beef Short Rib, and Vegetable Korma; and “Not Curries”—dishes like Tandoori Chicken, Duck Leg Biryani, and a Tandoori Cab Hanger Steak Skewer.

The new Ela will open in West Palm Beach’s CityPlace. What Now confirmed news of the opening with Andy Dugard on Saturday. Dugard said CityPlace’s Ela Curry & Cocktails is working to open in the beginning of 2026.

“Ela’s menu draws on Chef Marathe’s experiences growing up in India and inspirations from family and friends, most significantly the traditional cooking of his mother and family,” says the Ela Curry & Cocktails website. “Our goal is to transport diners to India through traditional aromas and flavors, presentation, and style of eating.”
