A new restaurant is taking shape in Lake Charles that promises to bring “good drinks, great food, and unforgettable moments.” Called Prestige 337, the new restaurant will serve elevated Cajun food and it has only teased images of its concept with photos of luxurious cars, décor, and drinks. The restaurant planned for 3922 Ryan St. is currently hiring for all positions and an opening date has yet to be announced. Owner Michelle Veazea is a Houston native and professional realtor.

The location in Lake Charles had been Rita’s Creole Family Kitchen until it closed in September 2023. That business became a food truck called Rita’s BBQ Plate Lunches that makes regular appearances around Lake Charles.
