According to Bridgetown Bites, The Parkrose Coffee Shop aims to debut soon at 4826 NE 105th Avenue.
Behind Parkrose Coffee Shop are Lily and Peter Burnett. According to Google, the new coffee shop aims to open on March 3rd.
“They will serve coffee and espresso drinks, freshly baked pastries (in both cases, vendors are TBD at the moment), and she says, “We are designing the coffee shop with families in mind,” Bridgetown Bites reports.
Parkrose Coffee Shop’s GoFundMe page tells us more: “Hi neighbors! We are Lily and Peter (and baby Julia!) and we live in Russell. We love this community. It’s where we have chosen to start our family and plant roots.”
“We just signed a lease at 4826 NE 105th Avenue (behind the Parkrose Ballroom and a half block away from Sandy O’s and Parkrose Hardware!). This space offers the possibility to build so much more than just a coffee shop: an inviting, accessible indoor space with a perfect kids’ corner, back patio for outdoor seating, grassy area for garden beds and beautiful landscaping, space for local art shows and community gatherings, enclosed courtyard for community events (movie nights in the summer anyone?), and off-street parking & bike parking.”
An update to the coffee shop’s GoFundMe on December 25th adds “We are working hard to get the space ready to welcome you in: patching walls, prepping to paint, cleaning windows, hanging trim, scheduling a plumber, applying for permits from the city, the list goes on!”
“In very exciting news, we have selected our coffee distributor: Roseline Coffee! Check them out if you’re not familiar, they are an excellent Portland-based roastery that is co-owned by the one and only Becky Grosse (formerly of Barista). Can’t wait to bring Roseline to Parkrose!”
