According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery listed as Heritage Chop House and Pub is coming to Los Gatos.

Coming to 15-1/2 N Santa Cruz Avenue, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Coup de Thai, Gardenia, and Loma Brewing Company.

Behind the upcoming spot is Yvonne Khananis, who currently operates a catering company in the Bay Area, Reverence Catering, as well as Polenteria and Oy! Bakery. The Reverence Catering website offers a brief introduction to her.

“Yvonne’s story began in her grandmother’s kitchen, where she learned to make traditional Middle-Eastern dishes that had been passed down through the generations. Since childhood, she has never strayed far from the kitchen, training under notable chefs across Chicago, building a catering business, and eventually opening her first restaurant in 2002.”

“Yvonne then made a move to California and established Reverence, first as a creative catering service for the Bay Area, and now with a café outpost in Los Gatos,” the statement concludes.

Walker and Kristi Pearce-Percy are also listed as co-owners, according to public records.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
