According to recent public records, Dave’s Hot Chicken will soon build a new location in Georgetown–with plans for more.

Construction is set to begin in April for 1039 W. University Ave, costing an estimated $350,000 remodel of an existing building, almost 3000 SF in total.

“Good news gets out fast!” franchisee Brian Cassidy of CW Strong Restaurant Group LLC enthusiastically tells What Now Austin.

“Depending on the permit process, we’re hoping to open in late summer,” he says, highlighting a date sooner than the fall projection on the public records examined by What Now.

“We have plans to do several more in the future,” Cassidy adds. “After this we’re hoping to go into Cedar Park, Pflugerville, central Austin, and south Austin.”

No addresses or opening timeframes have been announced for the future expansions.
