According to recent social media activity, Tamale Co.’s Fernando and Jennifer Tamayo will soon move into the space at 2401 Edgewater Drive.
Spanning around 2,935-square-foot cantina, Tamale Co. Modern Mexican Kitchen & Bar will soon bring local Mexican cooking and lively drinks to the area.
“Expansion is always in our plans,” the Tamayos said in a press release. “It’s been a long journey, and the path keeps on growing, soon with Tamale Co. College Park and our best adventure yet, baby Tamayo!”
What Now Orlando briefly reached Jennifer Tamayo to inquire about the upcoming restaurant’s menu and ambiance, but she did not provide detail.
Fortunately, a recent Instagram post provides plenty of insight.

This amazing new location will bring you a whole new dining experience with the same heart and soul you’ve come to love from our tamales—plus even more delicious offerings and a full bar to elevate your experience!”
