Located at 141 Giralda Ave in Coral Gables, Threefold Cafe—“Your Local Australian Cafe” serving breakfast coffee and brunch—is preparing to expand with a sister concept opening in Miami.
Called La Cucina di Threefold, the new restaurant will launch at 3060 SW 37th Ave, Unit 1, according to plan review paperwork submitted by Threefold Cafe South Miami LLC.
“I am finally getting into the space and planning our opening now (it’s been 1½ years delayed),” owner Nick Sharp told What Now in an email earlier this week. Sharp noted that many of the details on the opening are still being worked out, and What Now is awaiting an update with more information.
In the meantime, this does leave us guessing about the menu. Are we still expecting a brunch place? Or—following the name—will we see more Italian food on the menu?
