The Thai restaurant located at 870 Sierra Vista Drive, Suite 1-2, is preparing to reopen under new ownership.
Previously known for being open late (and not opening until 5 p.m.) the restaurant now called Awesome Thai Bistro will work to open its doors earlier, starting as soon as it can hire requisite staff. In its new form, the restaurant will seek to attract more of the convention crowd, Kannika, one of the restaurant’s owners, told What Now on Wednesday through a representative. “It’s going to be kind of a casual eatery.”
A menu is already viewable on the restaurant’s website. It features dishes like Drunken Noodles, Pad Gra Prow (Bell peppers, onions, carrots, bamboo shoot and basil), and Panang Curry (medium panang curry, bell peppers, zucchini, green peas, and basil).
Under new ownership, Awesome Thai Bistro (re)joins Macaron Warehouse and 664 TJ Birrieria in the building near Sierra Vista Drive and South University Center Drive.
