According to a recent permit filing, the folks behind Doughboys Pizzatopia will soon debut Doughboys Concession in Delta Park at 10737 N Union Court.
“I co-own Doughboys Pizzatopia, which is practically across the street from Delta Park. Our goal is to have everything up and running around mid-March, keeping in mind the tournament schedule this year. The goal is to have the concession stand provide better food, better beer, and an even better experience then a customer would have with other concessions,” Matthew Carver told What Now Portland.
“Doughboys Concession will be open during tournament times. At first, we are going to start more simply with our menu options and see how it goes. If all goes well, we will then bring over our signature menu items.”
“We are big baseball fans, so it will be fun to get out to Delta Park, serve the community, and enjoy the games. We’re also hopeful that it will bring in new customers to our location across the street. We hope that they can find a new “home” pizza place at Doughboys.”
Doughboys Pizzatopia’s website describes the concept as a “PDX pizza restaurant and bar. Come enjoy a laid-back fun atmosphere, the best pizza in Portland with good drinks and company. Arcade room for the kids, and kids at heart. Two S.E. bozos, The Doughboys have been making pizza for over 25 years.”
