After The Cheesecake Girl’s departure, a local food hall will soon have a new tenant: Libby Lou’s Fun Factory, coming to 6065 Central College Rd.

Tara Becker owns and operates the company, which recently announced on social media that the team has begun moving into New Albany’s Bubbly Food Hall. Becker tells What Now Columbus that the shop will be in the front of the hall by the main entrance where the wine bar used to be. The sweet shop, which will offer extreme milkshakes and other over-the-top dessert creations, is expected to open in early March 2025. The move comes after Libby Lou’s Fun Factory decided to move out of its Clintonville site at 3039 Indianola Avenue. This will be an excellent location for the company’s newest storefront.

“We started moving into Bubbly Food Hall today!!! So exciting,” according to an Instagram post from the company earlier this week. “More seating, clean, fresh space, more parking!!!! While our prep area is smaller! We still have the same great menu but a much more accommodating space!!! So keep watching as we begin setting up and decorating while we wait for our inspection.”

Bubbly Food Hall offers authentic cuisine from around the globe in a warm and welcoming environment. The food hall takes pride in being more than just a food hall, saying it is a dynamic and ever-evolving space that offers a range of exciting events designed to captivate visitors. The addition of Libby Lou’s Fun Factory will allow customers to enjoy a variety of sweets, including ice cream, candy, and more, as well as personalized part items.
