According to recent public records, Asian restaurant Bluefin will soon be building out its second location. The homegrown brand will be coming to 9828 Great Hills Trail, within unit 310.

Construction records states that “The project involves remodeling an existing restaurant space to be a new Japanese sushi and ramen restaurant. The renovation will include significant interior alterations to create an authentic Japanese dining experience.” The space will be around 2500 SF and cost around $120,000 to build out.

What Now Austin briefly reached owner Andre Dinata to inquire about the upcoming development.

He states that the second location will serve a “similar menu to the original” and should open “around May.”

“Here, you get high-quality ingredients, first-class atmosphere, and the delicious eats you’ve come to expect from us. Whether it’s our signature ramen you’re craving or one of our many fresh sushi rolls and poke bowls, we’ll always have your fix, and we’ll serve it to you in a cool, laid-back space that’s all about community. So come hang out, enjoy your favorite ramen-sake combo, and don’t forget: Slurping is always encouraged,” the official website states.
