According to SF Eater, Bay Area pop-up Bones Bagels — formerly known as Bones Bagels and Bread — plans to open its first brick-and-mortar spot in Noe Valley.

Coming to 741 Diamond Street, the eatery will land near establishments such as Dash Japanese Tapas & Sushi, Diamond Cafe, and Noe Indian Cuisine.

The concept’s owner, Noah Orloff, tells What Now San Francisco, “I’ve been a baker for about ten years, mostly doing sourdough. I started doing sourdough bread and then doing sourdough bagels… slightly sweetened with barley malt.”

Concerning the Diamond Street spot, Orloff continues, “We’re just going to have a simple menu with maybe five or six bagel options and a few cream cheese options made in-house,” as well as sandwiches, bialys, bagel dogs, sourdough chocolate chip cookies, scones, and sourdough cinnamon rolls — all served alongside Four Barrel Coffee.

“We’re going to focus on sourcing locally,” he concludes.

Bones Bagels is slated to open in early June. Follow the business on Instagram for updates.
