Pasadena will soon welcome its newest restaurant as Star Burger and Shrimp Galley prepares to open its doors at 5145 Preston Ave Suite C. The upcoming spot, confirmed by Owner Gweon Hong, is set to bring a fusion of juicy burgers and fresh seafood to the area, creating a casual dining experience for food lovers looking for something different.
According to recently filed permits, the project carries an estimated cost of $75,000 and will focus on a renovation and alteration of the existing space. The scope of work involves an interior-only tenant finish-out across a 2,000-square-foot area, transforming the space to reflect the restaurant’s unique concept and aesthetic.
While Hong hasn’t released further details or information as of this publishing, it is speculated that what has created its current success will be paralleled in the Pasadena outpost. Items such the Star Burger (with bacon, cheese, and jalapeno), Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich, and the large selection of seafood options will provide incoming customers the same satisfaction as current fans have raved about online thus far.
The project is slated to begin in March 2025, with an expected completion date by August 2025.
