According to recent reporting in OBJ, Blue Coast Burrito, a Tex-Mex fast-casual restaurant chain known for customizable burritos and what it bills as a “California beach vibe,” is expanding into Florida with a location planned in downtown’s Society Orlando building.

Apart from the upcoming spot on 410 N. Orange Ave, a second Orlando-area Blue Coast restaurant is also planned for the Packing District in early 2025.

Both locations will be operated by local franchisee Ed Zausch, who also owns a Just Love Coffee in Clermont and will open another location for the coffee spot in Society Orlando.

Blue Coast Burrito has 11 locations across Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas. Its menu features made-to-order burritos, tacos and other Tex-Mex fare, along with a salsa bar.

“We can’t bring the sun and the surf, but we do our best to bring you the freshest, finest West Coast-Style Mexican food available. We’re talking about build-you-own burritos, fish tacos, fresh-made salads and much more,” the official website states.
