According to a recent permit filing, there may soon be a new spot to grab a smoothie. The plaza at 5500 Hall Rd will be home to Smoothie Shop in a suite that previously housed a Boost Mobile. As detailed in the permit filing, the work performed on the interior is projected to cost $20,000.

What Now Columbus spoke with Smoothie Shop owner Carlos Oscar, who shared that the menu is still being developed, but some of the smoothies will have an ice cream base with various add ins that will be blended into the finished product.

Oscar also shared that he doesn’t have a firm timeline for opening yet and declined to estimate when the business may open due to construction, the permitting process and a variety of other factors.
